Morguard is honoured to announce that two of our Canadian office properties, 123 Commerce Valley Drive East and 2920 Matheson Boulevard East, have earned BOMA BEST Platinum certifications for surpassing building environment standards.

BOMA grants the BOMA BEST Platinum certification based on key areas of environmental performance and management, including, energy, water, air, comfort, site and stakeholder engagement, custodial, purchasing waste, and health and wellness. The two properties received this recognition for their exemplary commitment to environmental and sustainability initiatives.

These recipients made considerable strides to elevate their sustainability levels, including:

• Maintaining energy reduction targets on electricity and natural gas.
• Conserving water through efficient use, water damage monitoring and management programs.
• Reducing total waste production through process improvements and education.

The BOMA BEST certifications are a testament to both teams’ efforts at sustainable building.
