Morguard is pleased to announce that Penn West Plaza, also known as 207 & 215 9th Avenue SW, one of Calgary’s premier Class “A” buildings, has received Rick Hansen Foundation Accessibility Certification (RHFAC), with a rating of 74%. This achievement earns us a coveted spot on the RHFAC website.
Penn West Plaza is centrally located in downtown Calgary. Its close proximity to the Calgary Tower, three major hotels, and other amenities downtown makes it a walker’s paradise with a Walk Score of 98 and Transit Score of 88.
The RHFAC program evaluates meaningful access beyond building codes, considering the holistic user experience for individuals with diverse disabilities affecting mobility, vision, and hearing. Being rated by RHFAC helps us ensure that our buildings are ready for tenants who work with individuals with disabilities and seniors.
