Heritage Place Wins BOMA Ottawa Office Building of the Year

Morguard is honoured to announce that Heritage Place has been awarded the BOMA Ottawa Office Building of the Year (TOBY) (100,000 sq. ft. – 249,999 sq. ft.) Award. This program judges BOMA Ottawa commercial buildings on their management, operations, design, tenant relations and community impact. The recognition and publicity the TOBY Award offers participants has made it the most distinguished competition of its kind.

Located in the Parliamentary Precinct, Heritage Place is situated in the Central Business District of Ottawa — a desirable location to public and private tenants. Heritage Place is within short walking distance of all major federal government buildings, downtown commercial amenities, the Rideau Canal, and NCC parks, earning it a Walk Score of 94 out of 100.

The building has undergone several updates from the Development and Property Management teams. These changes include:

  • Refreshing the lobby;
  • Adding a light-rail transit (LRT) station to the property; and
  • Upgrading the office spaces to facilitate leasing for the House of Commons.

This achievement would not have been possible without the team efforts of the On-site Operations team and the Property Management team. Thank you to the Heritage Place team for your hard work and congratulations on this incredible award!
